Aims and Objectives of this Association
The spotlight of this association is:
- To foster friendship and unity among past students of St. Louis Schools and Opoku Ware past students on University of Cape Coast (UCC) campus
- To forge a common front to promote the interest of our alma maters on and off UCC Campus
To ensure the welfare of members by providing reasonable assistance in times of need
- To provide a channel for past students of the two schools on UCC campus to provide their input towards the building/development of the school(s)
- To be able to provide quality educative and entertaining programmes to enhance the social and academic life of the past students of the two schools on UCC campus. |
Mariam, Bernard and Harry
"The picture above depicts the presentation of a customised laminated akataslopsa success card to the final year students of St. Louis secondary school(receipient: Mariam -outgoing school prefect). This presentation was done by some delegated executives of UCC branch (Sarfo,Bernard and Harry)on 23/06/05. The presentation was held during the morning assembly of St. Louis school after the Headmistress (Ms. Johanna)introduced the presence of the akataslopsans. She also thanked Akataslopsans for their thoughtfulness and urged them to keep it up. At Opoku Ware school, the delegates made the presentation to the Headmaster (Mr. Anokye) on behalf of the final year students."

After a successful hosting of Akataslopsa inter-tertiary congress at University of Cape Coast, an appreciation in the form of a "Sponsorship Certificate" was presented to all who supported in cash and in kind. Opoku Ware school (owass) and St. Louis secondary school were not left out. Among other sponsors were; Okatakyie Sylvester Owusu Asare (sylvercrest), Slopsan Patricia Appiagyei (Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister), Kuapa Kokoo Credit Union, Okatakyie John Osei Sarpong (Takoradi Lands Commissions) and Sanaa Lodge (Cape Coast).
